Medium Velocity Air Washer
The Luwa MVAW efficiently provides for the proper conditioning for both process air and plant air systems (nominal 1,100-fpm). The MVAW is a more compact unit and reduces the area required for the air washer to a minimum. The MVAW can add humidity or remove humidity from the air stream when used in conjunction with a chilled water system. The MVAW can provide cooling with either mechanical refrigeration or by utilizing outside air for adiabatic cooling. With a Luwa control system it can even combine adiabatic cooling with mechanical refrigeration when the outdoor and indoor conditions determine that this method would be the most energy efficient method for cooling. In addition the MVAW will provide a final filtration for small particles in the air stream.
Low Velocity Air Washer
The Luwa LVAW efficiently provides for the proper conditioning for both process air and plant air systems. The LVAW gives you all of the benefits of the MVAW, but it operates at a greatly reduced velocity (nominal 600-fpm).The LVAW is used in such applications as oily return air or if frequent cleaning of the eliminators is required due to foreign particles in the air stream or extremely poor water quality.
Blow Thru Air Washer
The Luwa BTAW is gives you all of the benefits of the LVAW & MVAW. The advantage of the BTAW is that it greatly reduces the amount of supply air required to maintain room environments at relative humilities above 65%. The BTAW is used in such applications as weave rooms and natural fiber nonwovens.
Low Leakage Dampers
The new industrial damper designed for long life, positive alignment, and tight sealing. The Luwa Control Damper ‘CD’ can be either factory assembled or shipped to the plant in components to be field assembled. The CD accurately and reliably blends return air with outside air in the most energy efficient manner possible.
