Because water can become contaminated with both lint and dust
we have developed filtration equipment to uniquely handle the larger foreign objects,
such as lint, from the smaller particle. In many cases two stages of filtrations are
required to assure an extremely clean source of water for a given process, such as
chilled water.
Automatic Suction Strainer
The Luwa SS has been a proven technology for over 40 years. The SS separates larger particles such as lint, fiber and chips from any water stream. The SS is automatically regenerated, with either a timer or level controller, as it back flushes the captured waste into a catch trough and strainer basket as the drum is rotated. The SS has been used in many industries such as Textiles and Commercial Laundries.
Fine Particulate Water Filter
The FPWF removes the very fine particles from the water utilizing a media bead to filter down to particles at 5 microns. The FPWF automatically regenerates its media through a back flush cycle. This equipment is particularly effective at cleaning cooling tower and air washer systems.
